SharePoint farm solution from mtc supports Bayer contract management
The legal department at Bayer planned to modernize a solution that would support departments in awarding contracts to external suppliers with specific interfaces and automated workflows. We were given the task of replacing the previous Excel lists, Word documents in network drives and the many release emails with a SharePoint application. Automated workflow support and simple information provision were clear customer requirements. The acceptance of the new application was to be increased by a well thought-out user guidance.
The application, existing documents and lists were implemented based on SharePoint 2019 Farm Solution.
Our goal in the implementation was to use standard SharePoint features as far as possible. An automatic selection and control of the predefined workflows for the creation, negotiation and release of contracts was implemented. We were also able to implement the different authorizations of the employees involved in the release process.
We completely implemented the application from requirements gathering, architecture planning, development, testing and test support, rollout as well as user support.
Administrators can completely configure the system for each contract type and workflow, the entire process becomes more efficient, error-prone steps are reduced, and collaboration is improved.
We were honored for this solution by the customer in the employee magazine as well as with the "BBS Award - Quality", with which Bayer would like to specially honor particularly innovative solutions.
