Mobile application for reporting compliance violations in over 150 countries
Bayer was looking for an easy way to report compliance violations that could be installed and used on cell phones. Various options for confidential contact with the compliance hotline of the major international corporation were to be offered. The particular challenge was to implement this application with the existing Sitecore infrastructure.
A customized Sitecore-based application for the Web App Store was developed in close cooperation with the business and rolled out worldwide.
The mtc developers have many years of experience in such managed projects at large international corporations such as Bayer AG. We evaluated the requirements formulated by Bayer. In several workshops, we developed implementation options together with the specialist department. Subsequently, we planned and implemented the entire project. From the feasibility analysis, the conception, the design and the technical implementation, all steps were implemented by our team. The support of the finished solution with regular updates, new country rollouts and smaller extensions of the app is still our task today.
The application was successfully made available in the Bayer Group's App Store and enables contact to be made via telephone, web or email, while preserving the anonymity of the person making the report, supporting all national languages and integrating seamlessly into the existing system landscape. Due to the chosen architecture on Sitecore 8.2, necessary updates due to changing contact persons or country updates can be carried out by the business itself without much effort.
